The Bluefin Gateway can process all major credit cards including, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, and Diners.
In addition, the Bluefin Gateway can also process checks online through the ACH (Automated Clearing House) Network. |

| Do I need a merchant account to use with the Bluefin Gateway? |
Yes. The Bluefin Gateway allows you to authorize credit cards and checks in real-time and to process/settle the transactions through the card banking networks.

Yes, if your Merchant Account is setup with one of the following processors: First Data Omaha, First Data Nashville (Envoy), Vital (Visanet), Global Payment Systems - East (GPS), Card Systems, or Nova. Your merchant account bank must allow you to receive transactions over Internet/MOTO.
If you do not currently have a Visa/MC/Amex/Disc Credit Card Merchant Account (CCMA) that is compatible with the processors above, Bluefin can assist you in obtaining one. First Data Omaha, First Data Nashville (Envoy), Vital (Visanet), Global Payment Systems - East (GPS), Card Systems, and Nova. These processors account for nearly 95% of all credit card transactions.

| Will the Bluefin Gateway work with my existing shopping cart? |
| The Bluefin Gateway is compatible with 95% of the shopping carts in the market. In addition, we provide Direct Mode APIs for those who wish to integrate their custom-designed ecommerce systems. Perl, PHP, Java, and C SDKs are also available as well as emulation modes that will allow shopping carts built for other gateways to work with the Bluefin Gateway. |
