Director, Product Marketing

Are you passionate about product marketing and sales enablement? Do you love diving deep on solution capabilities, buying journeys, ideal customer profiles, messaging, and the competitive landscape? Bluefin Payment Systems is seeking a Director, Product Marketing to lead key go-to-market efforts for its payments and data security solutions suite.

This position requires an understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the security, tokenization, data privacy, and payments space. You’ll be responsible for establishing differentiated solution messaging, ideal customer profile characteristics, sales tools, and marketing/thought leadership content. The Director of Product Marketing will play a critical role in new solution launches, and will collaborate with product and sales leadership on internal training and external evangelization of the Bluefin’s solutions and the problems they solve.  You will help the marketing team build and deliver demand generation programs that drive measurable impact on sales pipeline by providing strategic guidance on target audience, messaging and content, and follow up strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Establish solution messaging/positioning that differentiates Bluefin solutions from competitors – what do we uniquely deliver to our key buyers and why should they care?
  • Understand how our solutions are evaluated and selected by target buyers; work with product, marketing and sales to ensure we have the right messaging and content to effectively guide buyers through the journey
  • Create sales tools and training (decks, brochures, email templates, call scripts, etc.)
  • Conduct, document, and disseminate competitive analysis/market research
  • Drive successful product launches internally and externally
  • Establish Bluefin as a thought leader in the security and payments space via the creation of proprietary educational content
  • Work with digital marketing and demand generation to strategize on and execute programs (webinars, email campaigns, events, SEO/SEM, etc.) that drive contribution to security solutions sales pipeline
  • Work with key company spokespeople to prepare for industry events, analyst briefings, and media interviews.

Ideal Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of product or solutions marketing experience with B2B technology companies
  • Experience in security, data privacy, payments, and/or IT
  • Experience working with product, sales, and customers in a B2B technology setting
  • Proven ability to create and socialize product messaging frameworks, ideal customer profiles, sales training materials, prospecting guides, objection handling guides, battle cards, sales decks, product overview sheets, etc.
  • Understanding of the B2B buying process for both Direct and Partner sales models
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills (written and verbal) including the ability to translate technical capabilities into digestible messaging
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines
  • Prior team management experience preferred
  • Analytical with experience analyzing customer, market, and sales data to help inform positioning and targeting decisions
  • Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or related field
  • Ability to travel approximately 10%.

Position Summary:

The Account Executive is a highly competitive, results-oriented SaaS consultative sales professional, who is passionate about helping clients protect their data.  This individual will sell our mission-critical SaaS products into a variety of verticals, including healthcare, retail, government/municipalities, travel, and other sectors.  Our SaaS products are needed in every industry, and the incumbent will help ensure we drive complete market penetration.  Working collaboratively with our Marketing and other internal teams, the incumbent will provide a client solution-oriented and consultative approach to sell PCI P2PE validated solutions and other PHI and PII products throughout their verticals, in addition to attending tradeshows and partner shows to promote Bluefin and our products. Our technology is universal and works with any software system, payment gateway or processor, and our PHI and PII products easily integrate into our client’s systems.   Exceptional “hunting” capabilities and a desire to help protect the world from data predators will significantly contribute toward the incumbent’s ability to meet and exceed business goals.

We will ask you to:

  • Create personal Business Plan to drive revenue creation and value to Bluefin and execute on a cadence of Sales activities to meet assigned targets.
  • Leverage personal network and Sales opportunities generated by our Marketing Department to develop relationships, educate clients, and manage Sales opportunities throughout the entire sales lifecycle.
  • Create a deep understanding of current and potential client needs through solutions/consultative selling, strong relationship building, and demonstrating exceptional business value to clients.
  • Prepare and deliver professional Sales presentations to educate potential/existing partners on security-related regulatory matters, security risks, industry trends and security opportunities/solutions (validated vs non-validated PCI P2PE solutions, vaultless tokenization, etc.), designed to spark interest and generate opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other functional areas to drive cross-product integration and cross-selling among our product solutions.
  • Maintain excellent time management, administration, reporting and relationship management that will result in referrals and sales opportunities.

Qualified candidate profile:

  • 3-5 years of SaaS Sales experience, selling security-related products and services as an individual contributor
  • Consultative Sales performance record with proven capabilities to sell security-related, technology products throughout several verticals.
  • Proven ability to leverage own network to create meaningful lead generation and manage Sales pipeline via Salesforce.
  • Results-oriented and dynamic SaaS Sales professional effective at building and executing on an individual Sales/Business Plan that will generate meaningful leads and close opportunities
  • Effective at managing and closing multiple leads within a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Sophisticated use of LinkedIn, Salesforce, Yesware, and other related tools to uncover and engage with potential clients.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of work experience.

Position Summary:  The Integration Engineer is responsible for certification and implementation of software solutions in an innovative and dynamic technology environment. The Integration Engineer will work directly with our partners, merchants, ISVs, and internally with our solution architects and technology teams, to integrate partner platforms and services to Bluefin’s applications, API(s), and SDK(s).  This role is critical to the business in providing key input provided from interactions directly with our customers.

Candidates should have a development background in a wide variety of web-based products using PHP, JavaScript, MySQL and AJAX. The ideal candidates will also have worked in a payment/transaction processing environment and have familiarity with the  PCI data security standard.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Proactively manage client integrations to the Bluefin Platform.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining certification accounts and web services for testing with partner applications.
  • Maintain and document merchant and partner interactions.
  • Understand all Bluefin API’s and be able to explain them to clients in detail.
  • Must become familiar with all Bluefin products and systems related to client integrations.
  • Active participation and collaboration with the product management and deployment teams.
  • Provide feedback to team on the status of projects and integration progress.
  • Provide technical documentation to implementation team on integration solution.
  • Provide and validate certification scripts for clients based upon product segments and other requirements.
  • Provide first point of contact for integration support requests for new partners after the initial Go Live.
  • Act as technical escalation path for internal and customer support tickets.
  • Interface directly with customers/partners and Bluefin employees to troubleshoot problems, provide training, etc.
  • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Working hours will be based on normal U.S business hours.
  • Other duties as required.

Education/Experience:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience using PHP, JavaScript, NodeJS required.
  • Understanding of XML Web Services, SOAP, Rest, HTTP, SFTP required.
  • Understanding of HTML 5, .Net, Java, XHTML, CSS, AJAX, and JSON required.
  • Experience using relational databases such as MySQL.
  • Experience with responsive web design and mobile enabled development.
  • Knowledge of web application development.
  • Experience with payment processing a plus.
  • Experience with Salesforce a plus.
  • Organizational and analytic skills, with strong problem-solving ability.
  • Experience in creating use case scenario documents.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and contribute to new ideas required in a diverse, fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment.

Summary: Bluefin is looking for a NOC Technician to join the Network Operations Centre in Waterford, Ireland. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy, customer-driven, and willing to work on a rotating shift schedule. The main duties include tracking and supporting all incoming and outbound alerts, proactive monitoring of the Bluefin network infrastructure, and systems, while providing a live point-of-contact for employees and partners for all operational issues. The incumbent will also perform monitoring, analysis, and coordinate restoration of failed production services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor ongoing operations, networks, and IT service infrastructure performance.
  • Interpret monitor alert messages and perform required actions.
  • Provide technical support for all Enterprise systems.
  • Basic Network Support (LAN/VPN/WLAN)
  • Desktop Patching (Implement/Verify – both Windows and Mac)
  • Understand and implement escalation, incident management, and change management processes and procedures of the NOC.
  • Aid team members, System Administrators, customers, and merchants by applying technical knowledge of operations and systems using server, PCs, telephones, and emails.
  • Review and respond to security system alerts and escalate when appropriate.
  • Provide helpdesk support for internal employees.
  • Some light Customer Service duties.
  • Other duties as assigned.

This is a hybrid role (partially remote in IRE) but must be able to work out of the NOC part of the time.
