Position Summary: The Director, ISV Business Development will adopt a solution-oriented approach to sell our PCI P2PE and/or PayConex validated solutions to Integrated Software Vendor (ISV) organizations. The Director will drive business development opportunities and must excel in both a sales-facing and program management role. The Director will support the sales efforts to achieve optimum sales, new account productivity, profit and company objectives. This position is accountable to revenue objectives and tracking/reporting portfolio performance. THIS IS A HUNTER ROLE.


  • Must be business savvy, articulate a clear explanation of Bluefin’s value proposition, communicate products/solutions Bluefin offers today and understand industry trends.
  • Collaborate with strategic partnership organizations, sales channels, product managers, and technical staff to deliver new business opportunities by identifying and exploring potential relationships. Work closely with sales channels and product managers to facilitate partner interactions.
  • Prepare and deliver formal business development presentations to potential/existing partners, demonstrating an in-depth understanding of Bluefin’s solutions, the payments industry, and the partner’s current and future needs.
  • Demonstrate Product/industry knowledge including ISVs, Developers, VARs, retailers, distributors, dealers, and licensees.
  • Manage lifecycle of business development opportunity from initial partner contact through program launch; leverage team members that manage certification process to Bluefin’s platforms
  • Proactively educate partner organizations regarding industry compliance mandates (PCI, etc.).
  • Update Salesforce daily with call reports, weekly work plans, pipeline information, etc.
  • Meet and exceed agreed upon Sales targets and objectives and adjust strategic Sales direction as needed to exceed expectations.


  • Bachelor’s degree and/or successful job experience required
  • Minimum of five (5) years of payments industry and business development experience with a track record of over-achievement.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of SaaS sales experience, and Gateway experience is highly preferred
  • Proactive leader who is results-oriented, dynamic, and at ease with public speaking/presenting.
  • Proven ability to understand collaborative partnerships with a track record of solidifying and monetizing those relationships.
  • Strong ability to work within a team, collaboratively solve problems and remove obstacles.
  • Ability to adapt communication skills to audience – executive, technical, marketing, etc.
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects at once in fast paced, changing environment.
  • Experience using tools like LinkedIn, Salesforce, Yesware, to uncover and engage with qualified prospects.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Salesforce.

Position Summary:

The Director of Deployment is responsible for leading a team that consists of Deployment Specialist(s). The position provides day-to-day direction to their team and takes ownership of actioning timely and accurate deployments and issues resolution. This position is an active participant in activities of the Deployment team including, creating Key Injection Facility (KIF) orders, actively working the deployment queues, working directly with our Key Injection Facilities (KIF) and distributor hardware providers and actively participating in hardware forecasts. The Director is the escalation point for deployment of the hardware and solution set-ups required for acquiring and Bluefin products to function. This position works closely with Bluefin internal departments and our KIF vendors. The Director produces KPI reporting and engages daily with Customer Service, Implementations, Technology, Product and Sales staff to ensure solutions are successfully deployed. The Director identifies and takes ownership to correct any items that hinder customer satisfaction, retention and account growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages and improves the end-to-end gateway and device deployment process
  • Maintains manual deployment processes, while implementing iterative automation improvements
  • Manages our various KIFs’ ticket processes and systems
  • Manages processes for delivery and tracking of client-owned hardware with our KIF partners
  • Creates and analyzes reports and makes recommendations to SVP, Operations to improve processes
  • Researches and troubleshoots issues for our partners and merchant’s deployments on both internal and external systems.
  • Trains and coaches Deployment staff
  • Performs as the point of escalation for Device and POS gateway deployment inquiries
  • Assists with daily deployment issues as needed
  • Actively works with the Deployment queue to create, execute and close gateway and hardware orders accurately and within SLA
  • Manages day-to-day items and situations with deployment and KIF vendors
  • Creates and maintains KIF vendor user manuals and internal processes
  • Manages and maintains Bluefin’s CRM fulfillment system
  • Participates and assists with KIFs and internal accounting procedures
  • Maintains hardware Item Master and pricing by KIF
  • Manages KIF relationships to ensure accurate and timely execution of submitted orders
  • Maintains deployment operations reporting and monitors KPIs
  • Maintains device forecast and submits to our KIF partners monthly

Qualification Requirements:

  • 5 to 7 years client support experience in a merchant acquiring environment.
  • 2+ years of group lead/management experience in a merchant acquiring environment.
  • Strong background and work experience in merchant acquiring operations, specifically in deployment related to POS solutions including standalone terminals and ecommerce gateways.

Summary: Bluefin is looking for a Senior Software Developer to join the team in Waterford, Ireland. The ideal candidate is an experienced Developer who will help to build Payments and Security focused SaaS applications for our omni-channel security suite. We require a security conscious individual with strong problem-solving skills to enhance our card-present, e-commerce, mobile payments, and data security offerings, along with a balance of solid interpersonal and technical capabilities.

You will work on a wide variety of products using multiple programming languages including JavaScript, Node.js, PHP, TypeScript, HTML, SQL, and NoSQL. The ability to work with Web frameworks and Restful APIs is required. Having experience in payments and familiarity with secure coding techniques is preferred. This is a remote position with the expectation that you are willing to visit our office periodically where many of the Development teammates reside. We are looking for someone who is comfortable and successful working in both virtual and in-person capacities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the CTO to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery of the Product Roadmap.
  • Effectively collaborate with the Product and UX/UI team to validate requirements and designs for new features.
  • Architect and develop software that integrates with 3rd party payment processors (First Data, Elavon, etc.) and other cloud-based services.
  • Understand, reinforce and improve the SCRUM development methodology.
  • Effectively collaborate with peers and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain existing codebases; troubleshoot bugs and add new features.


  • Minimum of eight (8) years’ of experience creating complex, data-driven applications for the web, ideally within payments industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
  • Experience working with the Node.js framework.
  • Experience working with object-oriented PHP (version 7+) or similar languages.
  • Senior-level hands-on experience with Frontend and Backend technology stacks.
  • Ability to take initiative and contribute to new ideas required in a diverse, fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment.
  • Experience with unit and integration tests, PHP/Node.js frameworks, relational databases such as MySQL, NoSQL databases such as Mongo, and developing software for distributed systems, version control systems such as SVN or Git.
  • Strong people, organization and analytic skills, with proven strong problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent communications skills and ability to discuss and present ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
