We are pleased to announce that we have launched our PayConex point-to-point encryption (P2PE) solution to Salesforce clients through Salesforce.com’s AppExchange.
We introduced our PayConex payment platform for Salesforce on the AppExchange in October 2013. PayConex enables companies of all sizes and industries to easily add debit and credit card processing to their Salesforce account, providing the benefit of integrated, cloud-based payments with features including recurring billing and tokenization.
PayConex is also the only AppExchange Solution supporting both Card Present (Retail) and Card Not Present processing.
On March 18th, 2014, Bluefin became the first company in North America to receive PCI validation for our P2PE solution. PayConex P2PE encrypts credit and debit card data in a secure point of entry device, ensuring that clear-text cardholder data does not reach the merchants networks where it could be exposed to malware. The move to P2PE technology helps companies simplify their PCI DSS compliance programs by removing clear-text cardholder data, thereby reducing the scope of PCI DSS requirements.
“At last year’s DreamForce in San Francisco, Salesforce cited that 38% of their clients were looking for an integrated Salesforce payment app. As more and more businesses are moving their operations to the Cloud, Bluefin provides a truly integrated payment solution right within the Salesforce interface,” said John M. Perry, CEO, Bluefin. “PayConex P2PE extends the power of PCI-validated point-to-point encryption to companies using the Salesforce platform, and Bluefin is the only company offering this level of secure, integrated payments on the AppExchange.”
Bluefin has partnered with several companies to provide payment processing through the AppExchange, including Kinetic Growth, a leader in eCommerce and renewal sales automation. Kinetic Growth has integrated Bluefin’s payment technology to provide secure payments via both Venue, its eCommerce application, and Encore, its renewals, subscriptions, and recurring billing application. Venue and Encore are both 100% native Salesforce applications, resulting in best-in-class levels of security, reliability, and scalability.
“Kinetic Growth is dedicated to providing secure eCommerce and renewal automation applications built fully on the Salesforce Platform, so partnering with Bluefin was an easy decision,” said Seth Landy, CEO of Kinetic Growth. “The fact that Bluefin is dedicated to secure payments was a big reason why we decided to choose their offering. We are excited to offer their point-to-point encryption option to our customers to protect their cardholder data and reduce their PCI scope.”
