The only PCI-validated P2PE solution native to Salesforce, the updates now include a new component, P2PE contactless devices and support for Lightning
November 17, 2020 – Atlanta, GA – Bluefin, the leading provider of payment security technologies including PCI-validated Point-to-Point Encryption (P2PE) and tokenization solutions for healthcare, higher education, government and petroleum, has announced enhancements to their PayConex for Salesforce integrated platform, with support for Lightning, contactless payments and more EMV ready P2PE-validated device options including the Android powered PAX A920, A80, A60 and E500 as well as the new IDTECH SRED Key 2 device for back office payment acceptance.
The company’s Salesforce app remains the only PCI-validated P2PE solution native to Salesforce. Utilizing the Managed Application, organizations can easily add electronic payments, including debit and credit card processing, natively to their Salesforce account. With the upgrade to Lightning, Salesforce users can easily integrate custom intake form objects and pass external data elements to the Bluefin virtual terminal object. Card-present, mobile and call center payments are secured using the PCI P2PE validated SRED Key 2 from IDTECH, which encrypts cardholder data immediately upon entry into the device, protecting data in transit and reducing PCI compliance scope.
“Any company using Salesforce to process payments in a MOTO environment can dramatically reduce their PCI footprint with PayConex,” said Greg Cornwell, Chief Revenue Officer, Bluefin. “Since the cardholder data is encrypted in the device before entering the user’s computer, the potential for compromise is significantly reduced. This is a major step forward for companies seeking to eliminate the exposure caused by credit card data traversing their corporate computing assets.”
Bluefin’s PayConex for Salesforce app provides both Card Present and Card Not Present acceptance, and now the new component supports contactless / NFC, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay on PAX devices. The managed app provides back-office and card not present processing and is Lightning ready. The Salesforce Lightning component now enables any integrator to add mobile, traditional integrated retail/restaurant countertop, and 4G cellular deployment support to their Salesforce solution. The company offers a Managed Application and a Component Offering through the new listings, including:
- Bluefin Lightning Standard: Available for installation on the Salesforce AppExchange, Bluefin Lighting Standard is a managed package that supports the P2PE validated ID TECH SREDKey 2 payment device for card present and back office / call center payments.
