Through Bluefin’s Decryptx solution, Spectra clients can now get the security and scope reduction of PCI-validated P2PE through their current Spectra integration
Bluefin, the leading provider of PCI-validated Point-to-Point Encryption (P2PE) solutions today announced a partnership with Spectra by Comcast Spectator, the experts in hosting and entertainment, to provide Bluefin’s P2PE solution to clients of Spectra’s Ticketing & Fan Engagement division through Decryptx, part of Bluefin’s suite of PayConex P2PE products.
Spectra is a major provider of sports and entertainment services, including integrated ticketing and eCommerce platforms and industry-leading expertise to global clients. One or more Spectra divisions (Venue Management, Food Services & Hospitality, and Ticketing & Fan Engagement) is at work supporting 500-plus live entertainment organizations across college athletics programs, professional sports, arenas and stadiums, convention centers, performing arts and other live events.
Through the partnership, Spectra Ticketing & Fan Engagement’s clients have access to Bluefin’s PCI-validated P2PE Solution for payment processing operations through their current integration with Spectra, with Bluefin managing the encrypted devices, key injection, secure shipping, decryption services and chain of custody requirements. Benefits of a PCI-validated P2PE solution for merchants include reduced PCI compliance and scope, saving time and money on annual audits, and the assurance that the technology has been vetted and approved by the PCI Security Standards Council (SSC).
“We’re excited to work with Bluefin to help protect our client’s data with industry leading PCI P2PE encryption,” said Dima Volovik, Chief Technology Officer at Spectra Ticketing & Fan Engagement. “Their technology, experience and expertise provide us with powerful tools to protect our community and their data, which is a critical component to our business.”
“Spectra is an esteemed leader in ticketing and entertainment solutions and we are very pleased to partner with them for P2PE,” said Greg Cornwell, Senior Vice President, Security Solutions at Bluefin. “Our own experience with our university and entertainment clients point to the real need for PCI P2PE in those industries. Now, Spectra clients can get the benefits of our solution through their current relationship with Spectra.”
