PAX Application Update
PAX application abilities have been updated and impact the way FSA and HSA cards are processed on their devices. To process these transactions and ensure P2PE compliance, changes are required.
PAX application abilities have been updated and impact the way FSA and HSA cards are processed on their devices. To process these transactions and ensure P2PE compliance, changes are required.
A change has been made to PAX application abilities that impact the way FSA and HSA cards are processed on their devices. To be able to process these transactions moving forward and ensure P2PE compliance, changes will need to be made to your existing integration to allow for additional information to be sent to the PAX machine when processing an FSA or HSA card.
If this information is not sent when one of these card types are used, your transactions will fail with an error message. The expected error as shown on the PAX device is “FSA / HSA Passthru data missing”.
Note: If you do not process FSA or HSA transactions, no action is needed.
