Bluefin Product Updates
Founded on our core belief that our brand’s value is ultimately tied to the ability to deliver a secure, yet frictionless, customer experience, Bluefin’s focus has always been rooted in tokenizing and encrypting data so that it can flow without friction while devaluing it to make it useless to hackers.
In 2024, we focused on solving the complex payment and data security needs of merchants by introducing ShieldConex® Orchestration.
A vaultless tokenization solution, ShieldConex Orchestration minimizes the PCI and PII footprint while delivering the ability to switch processors at will – all while delivering significant PCI scope reduction for retail locations, card-not-present transactions, and corporate networks.

Bluefin’s ShieldConex was the recipient of the 2024 Fortress Cybersecurity Award for encryption, presented by the Business Intelligence Group, and is also a finalist for the retail industry’s prestigious Vendors in Partnership Awards at NRF 2025 in the Best Payment Innovation category.

Bluefin Events
Bluefin hit the road this year to showcase our technology solutions throughout the U.S. and abroad, exhibiting in trade shows and partner conferences, and speaking at events and in webinars to educate and inspire on the importance of payment and data security.
Bluefin’s team thrives on interacting with our customers, partners and colleagues in the payments space and across an array of industries where we specialize. We participated in over 30 events across multiple industries in 2024, and plan to hit the ground running in 2025.

Bluefin’s Best Asset – Its People
In 2024, employees were the cornerstone of Bluefin’s success. Their expertise helped to drive innovation, efficiency, and growth – and their value was recognized within and outside the walls of Bluefin, including:
- Stephanie Myers, SVP of Vendor/Partner Management and Procurement at Bluefin, was named to Top 25 Women Leaders in Financial Technology.
- Joshua Garrick, Director of Information Security and Compliance at Bluefin, was named 2024’s Cybersecurity Professional of the Year.
- Paul Nam, SVP and General Counsel, was selected to GC Powerlist: Atlanta 2024.
- Bluefin also expanded their senior leadership team, adding Chief of Revenue, Andrew Munroe and Cheng Chieh Chen as Senior Vice President, Europe.
