The security and PCI scope reduction of validated P2PE is now available to GovTeller clients
April 24, 2019 – Atlanta, GA and Draper, UT – Leading payment security solution provider, Bluefin, will now provide the PCI scope reduction and security of PCI-validated point-to-point encryption (P2PE) through Convenient Payments’ GovTeller™ payment solution.
GovTeller, a fee-based, revenue-neutral payment processing solution offered by Convenient Payments, is the premiere method to process Government payments for property taxes, court fees, fines, utilities & other types of miscellaneous Government services, with no processing costs to Governmental agencies. Cardholders can elect to pay using a bankcard for a minimal service fee, either online via a hosted solution, or in-person through a fast and secure credit/debit terminal.
Bluefin enables PCI-validated P2PE on processing platforms and point-of-sale (POS) systems using their Decryptx® Decryption as a Service (DaaS) product, which allows payment gateways, processors and ISV’s to connect directly to Bluefin for the P2PE solution.

Data decryption always occurs offsite in a Bluefin hardware security module.
